Based in Cairo, Egypt, 4Elements was established in 2019 by Farah Shafie, who has become a prominent expert in the industry. 4Elements is a young and dynamic interior design firm that combines extraordinary talents and global experiences to create ‘’timeless’’ designs exceptionally for their clients, nationally and worldwide. Creating unique yet achievable concepts is what we do. We deliver to our clients what we promise till the tiniest detail.
In our interior designs, we create dynamic and unexpected concepts that allow the interior to reflect its own personality, while staying true to its core function. We like to play with materials and new configurations, leading to ideas that offer a constantly changing perspective.

4ELEMENTS is a Cairo-based, full-service interior design agency. We create interiors, exteriors, and custom furnishings for hospitality, residential and commercial spaces. Our approach is based on the belief that nature is the greatest indulgence. Founded in 2019 by Farah Shafie, 4Elements has evolved into an interdisciplinary global lifestyle brand that is leading the contemporary design conversation with experiential multidisciplinary destinations.

Here at 4Elements, the client always comes first. Designer and tastemaker Farah Shafie and her team work directly with each and every client from the initial consultation through construction to final installation. To ensure every client’s need is met, 4Elements provides complimentary initial consultations with the team to get to know and better understand their vision. Together with the client, they will facilitate a seamless journey.

The ancient Greeks believed the world to be composed of 4 basic elements – Fire, Water, Air, and Earth. These were considered the critical energy forces that sustained life and the cornerstone of philosophy, science and medicine for more than 2,000 years. At 4Elements we are strong believers of the power of nature which is why it inspires every aspect of our designs. Whether it is a top notch luxury hotel or a comfortable, minimalistic design, nature is always in its core.

Farah’s natural talent for taking bold design concepts and infusing them with sophistication, warmth and more importantly, a sense of connectivity. Her designs are driven by a deep passion to articulate a unique story and a multi-layered sensory experience. She believes that interior design is not limited to renovating a space but about creating an atmosphere. This has led Farah to produce some exceptional masterpieces.
A 2015 graduate of the American University in Cairo with a degree in Architectural Engineering, Farah is known for creating personal, sophisticated, timeless spaces with a unique point of view to each. With a passion for design, fashion, and art, Farah’s most notable years were initially with GG & Grace International - one of the leading hospitality firms in Egypt - as a Senior Interior. During her time there, Farah relished the opportunity to work on high-level concepting for landmark hotel Fairmont Nile City, and won the International Property Awards for renovating their all-day dining restaurant L’Uliveto.
Farah’s high-profile clientele includes Fairmont Nile City, Crowne Plaza West Cairo - Arkan amongst others. She is currently participating in the International Property Awards for the second time with two of her latest residential projects, ‘’ The Infinite Linearity ’’ & ‘’ The Parrot in Seashell ’’

Known as "The Hands-On", the team is actively involved with their clients throughout their design journey in every aspect, ensuring that they receive the best possible solutions.
